Planning and Development Services

CAPSH's Planning & Development Center offers services to help your organization prosper and grow. We offer organizational support, technical assistance, demonstration programs, community development, outreach/empowerment, and other services.

  Organizing

▪ Connecting collaboratives and partnerships for specific projects.

▪ Linking existing organizations to provide better service and to enhance.

   funding opportunities

▪ Assistance in setting up new collaboratives and organizations,

   including organizing non-profits and other service entities.

▪ Providing administrative services for your group.

▪ Serving as fiscal agent for your organization.

  Technical Assistance.  

▪ Help developing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, etc.

▪ Assistance planning events.

▪ Organizational suporrt for your organization (e.g. preparing and filing the legal 

  documents necessary to establish a nonprofit organization).

▪ Aid in writing effective grants and creating successful fundraising

  campaigns.

  Demonstration Projects

▪ Facilitating the development of new programs by providing you with

   the administrative and financial tools to implement your ideas.

▪ Assistance operating your program for 2-3 years until the program is

   able to support itself.

  Community Development

▪ Invite us to develop a needs assessment to evaluate your targeted.

   community's needs and to develop strategies to help you meet those

   needs.

▪ Working with you to develop a long-term strategic plan to ensure

   your organization's future vitality.

▪ Helping facilitate collaboratives which connect your organization with

   other groups to improve outcomes.

  Outreach/Empowerment

▪ Linking with groups to develop skills and resources to represent

   themselves.

▪ Voter registration and training on the American political system.

▪ Working to empower students and their parents to work effectively.

   with school systems (e.g. developing and supporting parent groups).

▪ Providing training on cultural awareness and sensitivity issues by

   arranging educational opportunities on issues relating to cultural

   diversity.
